"If I had to pick the one thing that influenced me to be the person I am today beside family, it would be Honduras hands down." "I signed up for Honduras two years before I was really old enough to go, little did I know how God was setting things up. The first time I went to Honduras a spoiled sixteen year old who's parents were going through a public and messy divorce living in a four bedroom house. I didn't know anyone on the team, and didn't know really what to expect. I came back with life long friends who helped me realize it is not things that matter in this life. While I was gone our house was sold, my mom only could find a four room shack, and everyone was worried about how I would react. Honduras prepared me to just be happy for the small things, the things money can't buy." "I went to Honduras to help the Honduran people, but they helped me more than I could ever helped them. They taught many life lessons about true happiness, love, and fellowship."
